More time to blog equals more fun!!

I know I've said I'm back a LOT so I wont be repetitive and I will say I will be blogging more...I hope :)

I have been following the fun going on over at Kraftin Kimmies Stamps Facebook page for their October release which is all about winter and Christmas eek...not ready!

They have some run challenges and prizes this month so I decided to play along a bit. Amazing stuff over there! The challenges I played along with were from the World cardmaking day events. I'm a little late posting this card!

My card is for the distressing and monocromatic challenges. I also used the October monthly sketch.

I used a retired Moonlight whispers stamp from the beginning of their creation.

Paper used: Bo bunny-midnight frost collection, papertrey ink white cardstock

colored with colored pencils and oms

blue/white twine

I have been pretty busy the last 4 years I guess huh?
I have recently ordered/bought new crafty supplies and have been playing along with some challenges and making cards for friend's baby showers. Here is a what I have made in the last few months.

Here is my take on the sketch!!

Stamps Used: Love Bear-Anita Be Stampin

Paper Used: White-PTI, kraft, Dp-basicgrey hopscotch
Ink Used: versafine onyx black
Accessories Used: MS edge punch, stickles, brads-basicgrey, colored pencils-Derwent, oms

I used the ADORABLE Love Bear image and the "hugs" sentiment.

The DP is basicgrey hopscotch and I used Martha stewart heart edge punch.

Just a little note

Hey everyone

If you have noticed I havent been around much lately. Well besides losing internet I have also been dealing with health issues. I was originally diagnosed with Graves disease/hyperactive thyroid in early 2009. After treatment for about a year I was symptom free. This last month I have been in and out of the ER with symptoms again and it is back with a vengance. Add some anxiety now and it makes my struggle that much harder.

I have taken a two week hiatus from all the design teams I am on to get my health regulated again and return to a healthy state.

Thank you to everyone who visits!

I hope to be back really soon and this time healthy!!

first Some Odd Girl Challenge!!!!!!

Sorry my post is late, I lost my internet temporarily and am "using" a wireless connection that isnt very strong.

Thank you for coming by for my First Some Odd Girl challenge post!!!

We have lots of new girls and they ROCK!!!

This week our Challenge is to use three hearts and a Some Odd Girl image! the prize is a HUGE one!!! Soooo easy to grab a SOG inmage too!!

I used Love Letter Kaylee on my card, She has lots of hearts on here! The dp is cosmo cricket and i colored Kaylee with my Derwent colored pencils.
